Starting his career at a very young age, Dr. Ravin Jhunjhunwala has pioneered the growth of the Orind group, starting from being the largest refractory exporting company from India to setting up manufacturing and marketing facilities abroad. His efforts at internationalizing Orind, led to the establishment of Orind China, one of the first fully owned foreign entity in China. Dr. Jhunjhunwala has chaired several international conferences and authored / co-authored a number of papers, presented in conferences and seminars all around the globe. He is a life member of the Unified International Technical Conference on Refractories (UNITECR), the premier refractory technical apex organization. In addition, Dr. Jhunjhunwala has also held various roles in other refractory-related activities, including the Society of Engineers, UK Indian Ceramic Society, Indo-Romanian Chamber of Commerce, CAPEXIL (Chemicals and Allied Products Export Promotion Council).
