I am determined to influence my audience through connecting and building relationships for better success. I want to put something out into the world worthwhile and to do this, I've chosen a career in Public Relations.

I am currently a student at Texas Tech University with the intention of graduating this August 2017 with a degree in Public Relations. I then plan to continue at Texas Tech to get my Masters degree in Public Relations. I have an ever-growing love for connecting to an audience in a way that will build a better relationship, cooperation, and success for both sides.

Outside of school I work at a local custom t-shirt shop as their social media manager, am a part of organizations such as the Gamma Iota chapter of Alpha Phi and the Tech Public Relations Association.

In my work at Cali T's I am in charge of photographing the merchandise, describing it and overall, choosing how to present the store in an eye-catching way. This job has allowed me to grow in my decision making skills, being detailed oriented and my creativeness. Starting small my passion for connecting people has started here. My responsibility overall is to connect my audience to the right custom apparel for their specific occasion. The occasions are generally fun and tend to pull out my creative side when helping them to know what they can do, and then what they want to do.
