When I was only 8, my father walked into our home and found himself being shocked by the door handle on the front door. When he asked me, I told him that I had built a security system that would send electrical charges through an intruder if they tried to enter our house. After calming down, he looked at me incredulously and said, ‘How did you come up with that? You’re only 8.” and that’s how it all started. When I turned 18, I owned my first company called Hook it Up. At Hook It Up, I set-up computers and electronics for people in their homes. At age 23, I created HIU systems and began building websites for small to medium companies. At HIU Systems, we built websites that used intelligence to track visitors before programs like google analytics were available. At 27 years old, I was off to California to follow my dream of becoming the next Paul Allen. Living in a one bedroom apartment, I somehow managed to meet the right people and found myself designing a system that would allow multiple people to see the same thing on 20 different monitors. This system ultimately was used in the OJ Simpson trial. Ever since I can remember I loved technology, but what really drove me was business and how it works. Now at age 37, I spend my time as CEO of Assisted Management creating projects from my own and others’ ideas; creating things never before done and building strong businesses with even stronger leadership that follow the technology curve. If you have an idea or a small business and you are looking for help getting to the next level, give me a call. I would love to share my expertise and enthusiasm!
