Raymond Hau-yin YUEN is currently a Visiting Lecturer in the Department of Political Science at Lingnan University. He holds a bachelor’s degree and Ph.D. degree in Government and Public Administration from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He also completed his master’s degree in public policy from University of Bristol, UK. Before joining Lingnan, Raymond taught public organization and management, public finance & budgeting, public human resources management and public policy analysis in City University of Hong Kong, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and the Education University of Hong Kong.
Beyond his academic pursuit, Raymond worked for United Nations Development Program, China Country Office and he engaged in the formulation of numerous democratic governance projects. He was also a fellow in the Asia Pacific Leadership Program at the East-West Center, Hawaii, where he worked in collaboration with a community of talents coming from Asia-Pacific countries for interdisciplinary analysis of emergent regional issues. In 2014, he was convoked to the United Nations Youth Professional Program (YPP) Examination in Political Affairs.
