Raymond Nobu Chang, #raymondnobuchang, has founded and guided successful business ventures in China and Taiwan. He developed GigaMedia in 1997, and the cable broadband Internet company quickly grew to the top position of providers in Taiwan. Raymond Nobu Chang led GigaMedia to its IPO, raising in excess of $280 million in February 2000. He received recognition among the top 25 of Fortune Magazine’s most influential Next Generation Global Leaders under 40.
His other professional endeavors include leading New Focus Auto and creating Luckypai Limited, both located in Shanghai, China. As the CEO of Luckypai, he helped revitalize the television commerce market in China by providing in-home shopping opportunities to customers. He positioned the venture-backed retailer for a profitable exit.
In his leisure time, Mr. Chang enjoys playing golf and holds membership with the Sheshan Country Club in Shanghai. He also likes to attend NBA games with his family, and he supports the Los Angeles Lakers. An avid athlete, he has completed several 5K runs, and he aims to participate in a full marathon in the future.
