Raymond Pettyjohn

I am a second year MBA student at the Johnson School of Graduate Management graduating in May 2014. As the headline says, I am a jack of all trades, master of some. This is because my interests are many but my work ethic is both focused and strong. An autodidact at heart, depending on what is needed, I can either take a deep dive into a topic or go for breadth. That being said, I never reject the counsel and tutelage of a teacher.

I value diversity and disagreement and firmly believe that we should continually challenge ourselves and our culture through vigorous introspection and constant education to improve ourselves and the world we live in. We are fragile beings. We live on a planet that is balanced on a proverbial knife edge. It is our responsibility to leave it in a better place than we received it.

When not studying or working, I am keep busy by spending time with my wife, playing with my dachshunds, following the latest cosmological, tech or business news, gaming, watching Sci-Fi or some combination of all the above.
