A Commercial Tanker Operator based in the London Markets with nearly 20 years of experience in shipping looking after the full range of tanker ships carrying oil and chemical cargoes.

Ray Joined Penfield Marine, a relatively new Commercial Tanker Pool Manager in May 2018 after a 7 year tenure at Navig8 Chemicals, one of the largest shipping services providers in the world.

"Whilst at Navig8 Chemicals I was lucky enough to work with a fleet of over 90 committed Chemical Tanker Ships trading worldwide and owned by a portfolio of over 20 individual ship owner partners.

With my move to Penfield Marine I now have the opportunity to build on that seasoned experience within a more ‘Boutique’ environment. Taking care of our quality ship owner partners in offering a service built on on a foundation of Transparency and Integrity more thorough and personal service."

Prior to Rays time in commercial shipping, he tended to the physical loading of ships from the shore side as a Loadmaster, Stevedore, and Line Handler on the River Thames.
