Raymond Dong

Raymond Dong is the founder and executive director of BridgeMe, the first non-profit organization missioned to improving the international student experience in universities around the country.
A third year undergraduate at the University of Chicago studying Econmics and Biology, Raymond's interests lie at the intersection of healthcare and entrepreneurship. He has worked at top medical and research institutions in both U.S. and China, including University of Cincinnati Hospitals, McCullough Hyde Memorial Hospital, Tsinghua University Medical Center, China University of Geosciences, UChicago Hospitals, and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Further, he is a National Director for United Against Infectious Diseases, a student-run non-profit focused on healthcare inequities in the U.S. and abroad.
On the business/entrepreneurship end, he is the founding President of Collegiate DECA, a UChicago organization building business acumen and public speaking skills for undergraduate students via national competitions. Also, he co-founded and headed a education tech start-up, TopTalk International, which assists Chinese students in access to U.S. university education.
His work with BridgeMe has been recognized by 9 universities, the Chicago mayor's office, international student directors across the country, and various media outlets.
In his free time, Raymond enjoys meeting new people and playing basketball.
