With 1-plus years of interpersonal, bookkeeping & clerical experience, I am multilingual in Cantonese, Mandarin, English and French. For 4 years in a Chinese church, I interpreted in Mandarin for a Cantonese speaker from Hong Kong, and translated 4 chapters of a book from Traditional Chinese to English. Living in Canada for 20+ years and with my Chinese-English interpretation skills, I have become a native English speaker and tutored English to an Chinese newcomer.
I am a SFU graduate in B.Sc. in Mathematics and Chinese-English Translation Program. I also successfully completed training in bookkeeping, payroll and Quickbooks basics. My analytical skills during my studies in math major and training during the translation program would help translate contexts that could not be translated directly. My solid mathematics background developed as a student majoring in mathematics and my passion in mathematics would also help teach the students and build up their confidence in mathematics.
My interests range from singing to baseball. I am also interested in Hockey, Softball, and voice-acting.
