Ray Simpson is the British based singer/songwriter who enjoys the rare accolade of being one of the few singers worldwide to have applied his musical talents across multiple genres of popular music.
He is known for singing love songs but maintains a healthy appetite writing message and socially conscious songs, notably, 'Marcus' and ' How Can We Ease The Pain' for Maxi Priest. The later, a duet with reggae legend Beres Hammond, that earned Maxi his first U.S. hit.
He is now in the process of writing and self-producing the reggae album he always wanted.
