I 've been active in climate change related work: was lucky to get a position as a senior advisor to the office of the president in the marshall islands

And a social entrepreneur : Also worked and continute to work on a remote island solar photovoltaic electrification project in micronesia - i conceived sought competitive funding for and led two novel projects of solar refrigeration in the outer atolls of the Marshall Islands which received a Community Service Award from the USDA Rural Utilties Service (and competitive grants of USD.2.3million :) ever thought cool water or ice or the process of watching water or anything freeze was novel?!! for many people it is a luxury!!!

that took me to a couple of Climate change COP (Conference of Parties) UN summits...in Bonn, Katowice and Madrid as an awardee of the Women and Gender Constituency of the UNFCCC. the award was for training Pacifika women in solar pv technical trades and installation. See an interview about that:

interested in electron microscopy (i am gonna be able to afford a benchtop EM rather than a flash car!), X-ray Micro Computed Tomography-( i used these techniques and others...during my doctoral research) mechanical and fluid properties of biological materials, hierarchies of scale, biomimicry, especially marine; linkages of biological structures and architecture; indigenous stuff- music, views of the cosmos; rural development by leapfrogging and technology transfer; sciencart; calligraphy; blues; jazzfusion; children n smiles, remote spaces, buzzing cities, reproductive processes....badminton, volleyball, snorkeling, trolling for yellowfin tuna! and BMW dual purpose motorbikes :) contact at islandeco(at)gmaildotcom
