Because I grew up playing soccer most people don't know that I am a huge baseball fan, but the thing is I don't even really like baseball. In all honesty baseball as a sport is pretty boring for me and it is hard to watch, which is why I am not a fan of the sport at all. This may come as a surprise to people because how could I be a huge fan of a sport that I hate. The answer to that question is that to me baseball has so much more to offer than just being a sport. Realizing this opened my eyes to a new goal, try and go to every MLB stadium across the country. And yes while this seems ambitious for someone who doesn't care for the sport, for me it was never about the sport. The idea originated from going to Braves games with my grandfather when I was younger and eventually spiraled into my dream turning into reality as I began going to games all across the country. With each new stadium I visit comes a new state and with each new state comes a new experience. From being an Atlanta Braves fan sitting in the Phillies fan section and getting heckled at the entire game to being a part of the “tarps off” at a Braves game with my friends, baseball proved that it can be so much more than just a game.
