Russell Bouse

Editor, Director, and Filmmaker in Chicago, Illinois

Riverside-Brookfield H.S. (1985-1989)
In the beginning of my high school career, I was an above average student; and by my senior year I was a straight “A” student. During my high school career I was involved with many before and after school activities which include: concert band, marching band, jazz band, spirit band, audio video club, the honors television broadcasting program, and chess club to name a few. I was also one of very few high school and college students to be selected to partake in an experimental laser class at Argonne National Laboratory.

Triton College (1989-1991) Associate of Science
I attended Triton Jr. College, as I had to pay my own way. While there, I was an honor student and became an ambassador of the college. Along with my studies at Triton, I was in involved with a new technology musical studies program called Musical Instrument Digital Interface (MIDI) with Dr. Schlabach. Also at Triton, I was involved with archeological and planetary studies with Russ Anderson at the Cernan Space Center. Upon completion of my studies at Triton, I received an Associate of Science degree.

Lewis University (1991-1993) Bachelor or Arts
Lewis was a unique experience, as it was a Christian Brothers University. While there I was very active in religious studies, aviation management society, theater, and business administration. Among some of the most exciting things in my educational career, at Lewis, was being part of the design and creation team of a new college airport. During opening ceremonies, of the airport, I was fortunate enough to be the security guard on duty that helped opened the state of the art aviation control facility with Cardinal Bernadine and Father Gaffney. I graduated Lewis University with a Bachelor in Arts with a major in Business administration.

Illinois Center for Broadcasting (1998-1999) Radio Television Broadcasting Degree
I attended the Illinois Center for Broadcasting where I studied Radio and Television Broadcasting. As a student, I had fantastic opportunities to intern at various locals. One of my internships was at WKKD radio; where I was a producer and on-air talent for the Kane County Cougars Baseball team. Another opportunity landed me as a script producer for the Jerry Springer Show. I also had the great privilege to visit HARPO Studios (Oprah).
