Ryan Brown

Ryan Brown is a Freshman Marketing Major at the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University. He plans to graduate with a degree in marketing with a minor in sports management in May of 2018. Ryan has worked three jobs in the restaurant industry, these jobs have taught him how to work well under pressure as well as how to interact with customers. His involvement with his fraternity Sigma Nu has given him the tools to work with a diverse group of people. It will also provide him many opportunities for leadership advancement that he is very eager to take advantage of.

Ryan has a growing interest in the field of marketing and hopes to someday be able to pair his love for sports with his interest in marketing. His ideal situation would be to work somewhere that could provide a position in sports marketing. He has aspirations to study abroad in Spain as an opportunity to learn as much as possible about another culture. Ryan was born and raised in Austin, Texas. With Austin being one of the fastest growing cities in the country he is extremely comfortable in the big city environment. Knowing that the sports industry is very difficult to break into he is looking to do everything he can to separate himself from the competition.
