RCS Chef Society
Bacherlor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management of Roosevelt College Cainta started in the year 2006 as a housekeeping short course, a TESDA accredited course, in which 15 students was only expected. An increase in the number of enrollees led Roosevelt College to apply for an accrediatiom for the BS Hotel and Restaurant Management course. By the year 2007 to 2008, the course was approved but still remained a ladderized course of TESDA.
In 2009, Hotel and Restaurant Management has been declared an offical course of 4 years and a Bachelor of Science. Within the next year, the first batch of HRM students consisting of 8 students graduated.
Along with the approval of the course, CHEFS Society was formed in the year 2008. Approved and accredited by Roosevelt College, it is an organization exclusively for HRM students of the school.
