Richard Gilley

I was born in Winston-Salem, NC. Went to high school at Starmount HS in Boonville, NC and to college and grad school at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro in Greensboro, NC. While at UNC-Greensboro, I developed a love for the history of medicine and science. My research focused on the mistreatment and eventual murder of mental patients in Nazi Germany. I am currently unemployed, but looking for ways that I can turn my passion for understanding the past and advocating for the mentally ill into a career. I currently reside in Tampa, FL with my partner.
