Apologist //Teacher//Pastor

I am a Christian apologist, teacher, and pastor. I have ministered for forty years. I am primarily a minister of the Gospel with a strong emphasis on apologetics. I help believers strengthen their faith and become more confident in explaining it, by understanding not only what they believe, but why they believe it, so that they become better witnesses to the risen Lord Jesus.

I was born in Brooklyn, NY into an Italian-American family. My upbringing grounded me in sound family values and a solid work ethic. I wouldn’t trade my childhood and family for anything. However, the turbulent times of the 1960's, three and a half years as a crash rescueman in the US Air Force, and fifteen months in the Mekong Delta in Vietnam led me to question just about everything. My life became pretty wild for more than a few years. Fortunately, Jesus found me. As the saying goes, the rest is history.

I attended a Bible school in Brooklyn, NY and began ministering on the streets of “the City” and visiting prisons. In 1974, I was ordained and sent to help establish a church in central New Jersey. It grew and divided into several congregations. I discipled men for ministry, pastored other pastors, and led an association of churches. I’ve always been involved in furthering the gospel, not only here at home, but in several other countries. During those years, I took courses and earned over ninety-five hours towards an undergraduate degree in biblical studies. However, ministry kept me from completing it.

In 2000, I enrolled at Southern Evangelical Seminary in their certificate program for apologetics, but was later admitted to their graduate program. I graduated in 2002, summa cum laude, with a master of arts in apologetics (MAA). Since then, I’ve completed another twenty graduate hours and am finishing up on a Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) degree, also in apologetics. I hope to have that done by this Summer (2015), God willing!

I’ve traveled and ministered at conferences and in churches in England, Greece, Italy, Macedonia, Guyana, Colombia, Costa Rica and South Africa. More recently, I’ve traveled with TEAM, the outreach ministry of Southern Evangelical Seminary. As a result, my passport(s) has over 150 stamps from my travels.
