From an early age I always knew that I wanted to contribute to society through technological innovation and change the world as we know it. In the school I had an interest in knowing the way things worked, and I chose the Scientific-Technical Bachelor option to get the knowledge and be able to have a better understanding of the world. Since then I progressed into Engineering University as my career path, where I always enjoyed studying Maths, Design, Physics and Chemistry.

When, during my first year, an oil slick punished our local coastline, and I was obliged to help cleaning crude oil, I became an even more enthusiastic student, focusing on all subjects related to environment and contamination management, especially nuclear waste, noise contamination and chemical spills. I also had the great opportunity to be trained by an expert in Noise Contamination Measurement, and I was encouraged to do my Final Project on Serious Noise Study in a real industry. I chose a problematic assembly of a motoring industry in Porriño (Spain), finding the critical points of noise in the warehouse and its structural and mechanical problems before providing an economic study for the solutions.

I was actively involved with the university as a student representative, helping students and attending meetings with College Managers. Group projects done with different people improved my organization and leadership skills, teamwork, social skills and enabled me to work under pressure meeting deadlines.

In addition to this, I cofounded a youth and cultural association in Vigo (Spain), being part of the board of directors and managing the treasury. I believe this experience, and having regular contact with the council, made me a more reliable and responsible man.

After finishing my career, I decided to expand my knowledge in Renewal Energies doing a Master on “Energy and Sustainability”. At same time, as I made some good contacts in the Motoring Industry, an opportunity came up to work in the Quality Laboratory of CITROËN, where I did an annual Placement in the Paint Laboratory, where I did also learn about Material Tests in plastics and steels. Moreover, when the main quality technician had two months leave because of an operation, my boss trusted me to be responsible for his duties. Eventually I discovered certain errors in some products from our suppliers, saving the company a lot of money. I am always eager to learn and put into practice my k
