My name is actually Ruby J Craft. My mother's name was Ruby, so I was always called," Ruby J" at home. I ran from my name. Then someone chided me.
He said, "You were named a jewel, and this is what you are. Don't ever be ashamed of your name."
I'm a Presbyterian minister's wife. My husband pastors at Christ Fellowship church in Ringgold, GA. We have been there forever, and the church as grown, and then everyone went away.
It grew again........... I need an outlet to express my faith, which I do on Rubiescorner and nine other blogs on Wordpress.com. I am on Facebook, and also joined the Christian side of deviantArt, where I have a gallery of my drawings and art.
I have written three books. They are on Rubiesnovels Word Press. One is short. The other is in the original draft I wrote for the thirty days of November to complete this one. It is on Rubies Corner, and I wrote every day for thirty days on it. The last one I finished in its original state in November of 2012.
I write about life today , mainly on Rubies Corner blog at Word Press. I am a pastor's wife so my perspective is from a Christian point of view. I may include hurts, episodes, and things that I encounter, because this is life for me, the Pastor's Wife. I like to draw cartoons to illustrate my writing. I have over 800 posts on Rubies Corner. I have three galleries for my art.The largest is on deviantART RSC3 . It has over 200 drawings or paintings. I have another gallery that is my own with Isaac as co founder. It is on deviantART also. WordPress holds the other gallery at Rubies Art Corner. I try to send the sketches and pictures to the gallery to save them . I have no idea how many are there. I am a retired school teacher. I tutored after I retired, but now I have my hands full as a pastor's wife, and writer.I write for enjoyment, fullfillment, and to communicate.
I can't get in a word edge wise at church! I work with my husband at Christ Fellowship in Ringgold, Georgia. We have been there over twenty years.
My husband teaches the Bible, bringing in history, because that was his major in college. I hated history before I married. I get it all the time in church, and I love the way it is applied, explained, and how it goes along with preaching.
Of all the things I do, I love to write the best right now. I zero in on a blog and start typing about every day.Isaac, my son, showed me the computer, and Word Press w
