rd Erickson

I have been a creative person most of my life, drawing in the margins of my school notebooks or on scraps of paper. Later in life I began painting with watercolor and belonged to several localized art societies and guilds. My work is in private collections around the United States and in Europe. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the College of Fine Art at the University of Florida. Now in the age of digital photography I took up the camera and discovered the fascinating capability of photo manipulation software. While I enjoy photography and have my work on line, I'm totally hooked on creating digital abstracts. the manipulation of line, color, shape, the ability to create layers and then merge them into fine art. Each of my fine art digital abstracts is a unique image.
