I am a marketing guy in the technology industry. Over 25 years of strategic and tactical marketing experience focused on identifying, creating and establishing new product offerings, partner programs, and worldwide brand recognition. I did marketing in the early day of Open Source and Linux. That was an incredible learning experience from a marketing perspective. While I have extensive experience in traditional or "Old" marketing (as they call it), I also understand how to leverage the Internet and Social Media to bring companies and products to market. In fact, I have started a company with two others called Now Media Marketing. The concept is about "taking you from where you are to where you want to be." in marketing. I have come to learn that many marketers understand either traditional or new marketing, but few actually know how to leverage both for their benefits.
