rd Erickson

little r and a little d, is a native Floridian. rd began his creative life when still quite young with a good ability to draw. He got his first 'good' camera in 1964 and quickly learned to compose his photo's. In early 1980 he took up painting with watercolors and was quite successful in California and North Carolina. He has many watercolors in collections throughout the United States, primarily in those two states, as well as Florida, Texas, Washington, Colorado and Ohio. rd holds a Bachelor of Fine Art in painting from the College of Fine Arts, University of Florida. Then about 2000 he purchased his first digital camera, and as is often said, 'the rest is history', With the advent of digital photography came the photo editing software that has allowed rd to create his remarkable digital abstracts.
