I have been a graphic designer for 20 years. A year ago, I decided to leave the corporate world and crazy deadlines to be a crazy full-time mom and wife. I love it! I have two very handsome, very funny, and very active, young boys. Now that my oldest has started school, I have been taking some time to design again, and do some freelance projects.

I have also had a passion for many years that I'm finally going to do something about. And thank you, Pinterest, for lighting the fire under me. So, I love furniture. I hate veneer. I don't necessarily love antiques, but I love things that are well-made. I am now a Craigslist junkie, and scouring all garage sales and Goodwill stores, in search of solid REAL wood furniture with a purpose. Why buy crap that costs hundreds or thousands of dollars, when I can have the real deal for cheap, and a little elbow grease and paint? P.S. Cannot wait to get my hands on some Annie Sloan. :)

I haven't decided what I want to be, or do in the next chapter of my life, besides a good mom. I am certainly enjoying and savoring this chapter while I can.
