ABOUT THE PROJECT:

The Ready Rashid cartoon media offers the potential for placement of the Middle East and Western cultures side-by-side.

There is yet another hook engaged: the characters are cultural, yet they are placed in circumstances familiar to families around the world. Several languages; several cultures—one cartoon media: Ready Rashid, family and friends!

We believe the Ready Rashid project has a unique opportunity to address cultural and racial barriers— how? Just by not addressing them.

Extended Characters provide the opportunity for story lines that integrate four cultures (Arab, American, British, and Asian) into the setting of young people experiencing life as lifelong friends.

OutFront Films has also developed the Ready Rashid cartoon for immediate adaptation into social media. Along with a Website, twitter, instagram and Facebook page, a keen area of opportunity is the development of mobile device ‘apps’ featuring Ready and his young friends.
