Daniel Johnson
Engineering Manager in Charlotte, North Carolina
Growing up in the south, raised by northerners is a common thing in Apex, NC, my home town, and because of that I have gained family-like friendships in all stages of my life. My father, an Army Ranger and home builder, and my mother, a medical lab supervisor, raised my brother and I with discipline, respect, and a strong work ethic. In highschool I always excelled in school but had a passion for sports, playing Lacrosse, Football, and earning a state championship ring in Track.
I was fortunate enough to attend North Carolina State University, where I majored in Mechanical Engineering and minored in athletic event attendence. Not only did I continue building my collection of meaningful friendships, but I was lucky enough to find my future wife, a fellow Wolfpacker. My wife and I own a 1950's house in Madison Park that I love (and hate) to continually work on; we enjoy travelling, spending time with our families and tailgating for the Wolfpack and Panthers. We have recently welcomed our beautiful daughter into the world and will have a whole new set of hobbies soon.
