Michelle R. Moody

Michelle was born and raised in Baltimore and brings to the real estate industry 20 years of experience in academia, during which time she worked as a Program Administrator at one of the top local universities in the world. She honed her professional skills in this service based industry for faculty, students and staff which have become the foundation of the expertise that Michelle has translated to real estate as she assists buyers and sellers.

As a loyal hometown girl, Michelle also earned her Master's degree from Johns Hopkins University. Her liberal arts degree focused on a diverse set of courses, which made for a well-rounded knowledge base. This degree helped Michelle to think in a broader spectrum, which has made her an innovative thinker who does not have a one track mindset. Life throws us many curveballs and we need many skills to be able to survive. Michelle can give guidance that is consistent with the times in order to help you buy or sell your home. This also means that an emphasis on continual personal and professional education is a must in her opinion.

Like her degree, Michelle lives a well-rounded life which so far has included everything from volunteering as a docent at the Maryland Zoo in Baltimore, diving in dormant volcanoes and whale watching in Maui, riding horses in the Dominican Republic, climbing to the top of the Statue of Liberty, photographing wild ponies on Assateague and Chincoteague Islands, getting soaked by the Niagara Falls, watching the changing of the guard in London, and one of her favorites – seeing Paris from the top of the Eiffel Tower.

Michelle says, "I specialize in houses, but I focus on people. My focus is you!"
