Reba Shahid is a multi-lingual communications specialist with more than ten years of experience in journalism. Reba's forte is analysing and reporting on Information Technology (IT) and internet trends, issues and developments. However, she has also written in-depth articles and edited features on diverse topics such as health, environment, social issues and entertainment. Reba takes pride in her adaptability and ability to channel her creativity in order to communicate with a diverse audience.

Reba has been trained by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) as a reporter and has also a written a bi-weekly column Reba Ki Diary (Reba's Diary) for the Urdu website of the BBC on IT trends and issues. A fast learner and a collaborative team player, Reba has a vast experience of editorial and people management skills. She has worked as Editor of Spider, a monthly English language, print magazine focusing on Information Communications Technologies (ICTs), for more than four years.

Reba Shahid holds a Master's degree in History, which gives her insight into world events and helps her research, interpret and analyse them in the light of their preceding historical, political and social origins.

Reba has extensive knowledge of social media and publishing trends – having worked with print, online media and radio – at times simultaneously. While Reba enjoys reporting and undertaking research for potential stories, she is equally comfortable and adept at editing, proofreading, copywriting/ content generation and social media management.
