I'm a liberal city girl that never gets to spend enough time at the family cabin. If my radio is on it is playing an MPR/NPR station. I do not get regular or cable tv; I entertain myself at home with books and Netflix, and have discovered the wonderland that is Surdyk's Cheese Shop. I love the Minneapolis Art Institute and have a membership at the Science Museum. I've kept extensive flower gardens and had multiple aquariums. A common denominator is color; I love playing with color! I'm a night owl. I like to tease a sad or too serious person into smiling. A dry sense of humor gets me every time. I'm a first-generation American from a two immigrant parents: one German and one Pakistani. We're a rather rare breed, us Pakistani-Germans. I have cats; they bring a great deal of amusement to my life. For those of you interested in Meyer-Briggs, I'm a solid ENFP. Travel! There are so many places I'd love to explore: Egypt, Greece, Italy, Scotland, India, Australia, Japan, well you get the idea. Places I've been that I'd like to revisit: Lahore, Pakistan; Chichen Itza, Mexico; Bremen, Germany; London, Rome, San Francisco. I am irreverent, intellectual, and intrigued by color.
