Pining things to an external fabric changes them, making them less threatening and more real, reducing their volume so that they lose their spikes. No matter how painful, how hard to initiate and maintain, for me, the effort and the pursuit are worth it.
Through my work I strive to ignite others so that they might burn more brightly and more brilliantly.
