I write. I teach. I travel. I reflect.

I travel to places with a mind for culture and conflict. What makes my identity? What makes the Other? What makes hate? These are compelling questions of our day.

My goal: More reasoned thinking. More consideration for identity-driven politics. Better, refined communications techniques to reach beyond our manipulable hearts and minds. Today, we need to get to the soul. And I am ready to take responsibility to get us there. I write new language. I create new words and new mediums.

On a more personal note: I practice yoga. I listen to Phish and other jam bands. I observe and believe in the Jewish tradition. I live every day for me, having in mind that I am only able to do so because of my family. I take care of my body and my mind, and I love to help others to the same.
