Citizen and lover of the world. Improv comedy junkie. CouchSurfing ambassador.
Although she was originally born in Houston, Rebecca has lived extensively in San Francisco and in the suburbs of Boston, where she attended the boarding school Phillips Exeter. Following high school, she received a scholarship to study in Germany for a year on behalf of the US Congress. She spent the past spring semester studying in Berlin at the Freie University and pursuing an independent study research project regarding work-life balance. Rebecca has welcomed traveling strangers into her home and spent nights at sea on a stranger's yacht through Couchsurfing. She has visited all continents aside from Antarctica.
A junior at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School, she is triple-majoring in Marketing, International Studies, and German.
Inspired by the TED Talk from Cesar Kuriyama, she hopes to film at least one second of her life every day, for the rest of her life. Her favorite app is Wakie, the social alarm clock of people waking people -- what better way to start your day?
