Rebecca Davies

Howdy, I’m Rebecca. I’m an Archaeology student living in Truro. I am a fan of Archaeology, Experimental Archaeology, and Garum.

I would describe myself as self-educated. My interests are “eclectic” ranging from bushcraftto local history to classic cars. Coming from the antiquity rich county of Wiltshire it was only natural for me to become aware of our ancestors and ancient landscapes. In my earlyforties, quite by accident, I left my home town of Swindon and traveled to Cornwall to studyArchaeology. This has enabled me to develop special interests in Early Medieval Christianity,The Vikings and Experimental Archaeology. My academic ambition is to study for an MSC inExperimental Archaeology. As part of my B.Sc. Hons. Archaeology degree, the class and I have created an Exhibition on Roman fish sauce. If you are interested on learning more, check out our blog!
