Rebecca Drouin
My name is Rebecca Drouin, I am 20 years old. When I was younger I never wanted a desk job. First I wanted to be a princess, but when I turned 10 I changed my mind and decided I was going to be a ballroom dance teacher. As the years went on I came to realize that neither a princess nor a ballroom teacher were for me. So I continued my search.
I graduated from Rockland District High School in 2011. I was valedictorian and received The Governor General Reward for highest over all average.
I am currently enrolled in Business Management and Entrepreneurship at Algonquin College. I plan to graduate by April 2013; and enrol in Event Management Fall 2013.From there I plan on organizing small events with a small company and eventually open my own wedding planning business.
I had my first job at Tim Horton's when I turned 16; I was a cashier and baker .This job gave me team building skills and thought me how to work in a fast past environment. After leaving Tim Horton's I found a job catering and planning events, this made me realize was my passion for weddings. I am currently working at Boston Pizza as a waitress/bartender.
On my spare time I enjoy volunteering for the local church in Rockland and the Make a Wish Foundation.
