It is important to contiue to develop your skills to firstly get the job you want and then to be good at it.
This means doing extra courses, reading relevent books and magazines, going to talks.
One way to get extra skills and experience is to volunteer your time. My ideal job is to work in Radio or some sort of presenting, to be able to get this job I have a sort of CPD plan which includes writing to all the local Radio stations and volunteer my time.
