Rebecca Robinson

I am a professor of English at Brigham Young University-Idaho. I earned my PhD in Writing, Rhetorics, and Literacies at Arizona State University in November 2019. My primary research interests are discourse communities, conceptual metaphors, and collaborative writing.

I've lived all my life in urban and semi-rural communities in the western United States, and though I love experiencing new places, the Rocky Mountain West will always be a home to me. I like to think of myself as a well-rounded geek, but my biggest non-academic geeky passion is for Doctor Who. I also raise backyard chickens.
