As a 23 year old recent graduate of Millikin University, Rebecca Johnson is enthusiastic and ready to begin her career in music education! While she is new to the profession, Rebecca has already obtained great experience in the field. In 2009, she was awarded the Golden Apple Scholarship. Golden Apple has given her over 400 extra hours of classroom experience and professional development courses. Not only has Rebecca had experience in Chicago and Decatur Public Schools, but she has also student taught, volunteered and substitute taught in the Rockford Public Schools. Rebecca's goal is to become a teacher who inspires her students to be passionate, motivated and successful in all aspects of life.
