Rebecca Lister
Rebecca Crow Lister grew up in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, near the Blue Ridge Mountains. She attended James Madison University (Bachelor's Degree in Music Education). As a student of Roy Delp, Lister continued her studies at the Florida State University where she received the Master's Degree in Voice Performance and the Certificate in Early Music in 1992. She earned the Doctorate in Voice Performance in 1997.
Lister is Associate Professor of Music, teaching private voice lessons, vocal literature, vocal pedagogy, and vocal diction at Lebanon Valley College. Maintaining an active performance career, Lister's main interests are in the music of female composers, chamber music, and arts songs in Spanish by contemporary composers. She has recently collaborated with international guitarist Berta Rojas on concerts featuring songs for voice and guitar in Spanish and Portuguese.
