Rebecca Schlehlein

Hello! I'm Becca! :) I'm from Sussex, WI originally and now live in Platteville, WI. I graduated in May of 2011 from the University of Wisconsin - Platteville with a degree in Animals Science with a dairy emphasis. Currently working on a farm in Platteville. Milking around 300 cows in a 10-cow swing parlor. I am the calf manager on the farm, but still do other chores along with milk. Purchased my first registered Holstein heifer in the spring of 2012 and in December of 2012 I bought 4 registered brown Swiss. I have gotten one Holstein heifer and one Swiss heifer so far! :) I plan to start to grow my own herd of registered cattle for when I am able to buy my own farm. I love to have a good time and enjoy promoting the dairy industry in any way that I can! Looking forward to what the future holds for me!
