I am a trade union activist - my gang of choice is the GMB, for which I'm a workplace rep and Secretary of GMB Young London. I've been involved in and helped run campaigns on housing issues, the living wage, women's rights, No More Page 3 and global poverty.

I write (mainly about activism and politics) on The Huffington Post and have written for The New Statesman, the Feminist Times, The Guardian, TES, For Books' Sake and The New Internationalist.

When I'm not doing that I'm somehow holding down a full-time job and an allotment, and hoping my friends understand.
