Rebecca Clevlen

I am the daughter of a career Air Force veteran, was born at Dover Air Force Base in Delaware. Shortly after my birth, my parents relocated to Austin and Bergstrom Air Force Base. As long as she can remember, Austin has been my “Home”. My dad began working as an Appraiser upon his retirement from the military. I remember visiting properties with him, and him telling me about the profession and how the valuation of properties was arrived at. I believe this is when an interest in the real estate profession was sparked.

As a daughter in a military family, I was taught the value of discipline, commitment and, “Mission Accomplishment” - what most of us commonly refer to as goal attainment. That, coupled with my parents’ emphasis on education brought me to where I am today. I began working immediately after high school in order to pay my own way through college and successfully obtained an undergraduate degree in Communication from Texas State University.

I transitioned into the field of education as a teacher working with Middle School students teaching Mathematics in the Leander Independent School District. While a full time teacher, I began working to further develop my knowledge and skills by obtaining a Masters Degree in Education Administration. Because of my success in the classroom and the high standards I had established, I was selected to work as a leadership trainer and consultant of teachers for Region 13 Education Service Center.

Upon completion of my obligations in the field of Education, I have rekindled my interest in real estate; the profession my father had made seem so interesting to me many years before. I was licensed in 1999, and have made use of experience in mathematics and education to develop a keen ability to assist consumers in the process and understanding of the business of real estate. I combine a commitment to exceptional service to clients, with my understanding of numbers in order to provide a very unique experience for my Buyers and Sellers.

Life is an interesting journey. I look back and see mathematics, real estate, and service as influencers that ultimately led me to this point.
