Helping organizations navigate growth and and change with grit and grace in New York, New York

Hi, my name is Rebecca, but everyone calls me Becks.

I'm a Netherlands native, raised in Canada; NYC has been my home for the last decade.

Let’s start by dropping into the middle of my story.

For the past six years, I’ve been the right hand to three consecutive CEOs at an impact-driven, VC-backed edtech organization—navigating M&A, transformative growth, and strategic pivots. I’ve partnered with them to build out leadership teams, develop SOPs, design organizational structures, find product-market fit, articulate their vision, plot roadmaps, and more.

All of this has shaped me into a battle-tested operational ninja—a strategic Jill-of-all-trades with high standards who knows how to get things done. I’m a generalist, experienced enough to dive deep and zoom out to orchestrate at the highest levels, all while balancing rigor and humanity along the way.

Backing up to the beginning..

My corporate career is firmly rooted in nearly a decade of skill-building outside the traditional corporate world—through my first career as a classically trained dancer. That experience taught me to be highly accountable, solve problems creatively, remain poised yet gritty, and collaborate with anyone, anywhere.

I’ve had the privilege of performing and touring works by some of the most renowned neo-classical and modern choreographers, including: William Forsythe, Jiří Kylián, Crystal Pike, Mark Morris, and Wayne McGregor. I've worked with Ballet Nacionale de Cuba, and garnered a contract for Lucinda Childs’ 2015 global revival tour of Available Light. I was a top 8 female on Season 4 of So You Think You Can Dance (Netherlands/Beligum 2011).

I've trained within highly selective professional programs, including: the Royal Winnipeg Ballet (2004), Atlanta Ballet (2005), Alonzo King’s Lines Ballet in San Francisco (2006), Springboard Danse in Montreal (2014), and was one of 12 women selected for the Contemporary program at Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival in Beckett, MA (2014).
