Rebecca Bourne Jones

I have had a lifelong passion for three things… great communications (studying communications and journalism at UTS), …creativity and the arts (I attended my first ballet at the age of six, got my first theatre subscription at the age of 12, and have worked for arts organisations in London, New York, and Sydney), …and social impact (I am particularly focused on opportunities for young and indigenous Australians).

From 2003 to 2008, that passion led to a series of marketing, communications, and development roles for organisations including the National Theatre, St Johns Smith Square, the Imperial War Museum, and Churchill’s War Rooms (London), Madison Square Park Conservancy (NYC), and Sydney Youth Orchestras and Sydney Festival (Sydney).

In 2008, I decided to combine starting a family with developing a deeper understanding of all the challenges facing organisations in the arts and non-profit sectors. So in 2011, I graduated from UTS School of Business with a Masters of Arts Management. I now bing to the table an understanding of the strategic and operational challenges of the social sector with extensive experience in devising and implementing marketing, communications, and internal campaigns for arts and non-profit organisations.
