Rebecca Brasfield
An essayist, author, and social commentator, Rebecca Brasfield recently published two works through the First Commentary publishing house. Each work critically analyzes normally staid industries. The first, Corruption in Academia, examines the hierarchical nature of the higher education system and the requirement to conform to given practice or else be rejected by the system. The second, Physics in Theory, explores the concept of the unified theory.
Rebecca Brasfield approaches the subject by discarding previously held definitions and freeing up room to discuss the conceptual and empirical aspects of the field. Both books are available though Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Lulu.com published under the name Becky Brasfield.
Rebecca Brasfield earned both her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and her Master of Arts in Sociology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Apart from the two published works, she frequently comments on gender, sexuality, and feminism. She recently presented a paper at the Midwest BLGTA College Conference, hosted by Iowa State University. Additionally, her academic exploration of the popular TV show Sex in the City has been published and republished in several formats.
