Rebecca Calderara

Rebecca grew up in the south and calls North Carolina home. After graduating from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, she moved to Colorado as she was accepted into a two-year Fellowship program in Leadership and Service at the United States Golf Association. After falling in love with the Rocky Mountains, Rebecca ventured further north to work and live in Montana, where she became the Associate Director of Interactive Media and Strategic Communications for The University of Montana Foundation. She then moved to Kathmandu, Nepal to climb big mountains and work as a Communications Consultant for an international, education NGO.

Currently she is working as the Uganda Country Director for HELP International, an international development organziaton. As Country Director she is managing 15 volunteers and 16 international development projects, including the construction of a remote, mountaintop health clinic.

When not working in the philanthropic sector, Rebecca loves to spend time outdoors especially skiing and hiking in the mountains. She also enjoys creative endeavors and is both a painter and graphic artist.
