Let's chaco-bout it.

Hi, my name is Rebecca Chang, and I love Chacos. Although Chacos is a popular brand seen around UGA, my Chacos are special. To begin, my Chacos were bought in the men's section of a store. I knew I did not want designs on my shoes, and all of the women's shoes on display had designs. When I saw the simple, black style, I knew I had found my perfect pair. I wear these shoes almost everyday. They are comfortable, and I know that I can rely on them. Their sturdy straps make my feet feel secure unlike my other summer shoes. They go along well with my daily attire of oversized t-shirts and running shorts. In addition, they slide into and out of my feet easily when I need to get out of the house quickly or come home from a tiring day. My Chacos have seen me at my best and worst. They have been with me during fun outings with my friends and family, hikes, and even small occasions like trips to the grocery store. However, they have also shared my pain. They have been stepped on by others and soaked by rainstorms and dirty puddles on sidewalks. Some people call my chacos ugly and make jokes about them, but I wear them proudly. Even when they are not on my feet, a striped design remains to remind me of past adventures out in the sun.
