I am a Puerto Rican - Latina clinician/counselor, expressive arts artist, poet, author, educator, former producer, and TV personality.

I was born in New York City and raised in the South Bronx. I moved to Rhode Island in 1990 where I now make my home and my magic. A painter since the age of 10, I have achieved one of my childhood dreams of owning and operating my own gallery, located in Onset, Massachusetts.

After tragically losing my 18-year-old daughter Natasha Love Gonsalves in 2008 through a senseless act of teen violence, I decided to forge ahead with my passion and my mission to inspire and empower my audience by helping them realize their faith, vision, and energy to believe.

I use the expressive arts to help clients with coping skills and helps them develop coping skills so they can live independently. She uses integrative, holistic, and multimodal arts approaches for deep personal growth and positive community transformation.

I also facilitate expressive arts group workshops.

I am a best-selling author of three books written in poetry in both English and Spanish. I am a special art educator, advocate, producer, health education activist, and businesswoman. The best part of my everyday experience is the blessing of my son Joshua Elijah who controls my life with his blessing, strength, and courage.

I decided I wanted to make a difference in the lives of women and our youth. To accomplish this goal, I took my natural talents and decided to give back, by utilizing my poetry and art as a vehicle to educate and improve awareness of the health challenges facing society. A multi-faceted artist by profession, with a degree in Psychology, Teacher, and Mentor. In addition, I am the Founder of The Natasha Love Foundation, a non-profit organization established in my daughter's memory.

In 2011, I created the word SerLieve, in my world of inspiration, 'Serlieve means willing to exist with Spiritual Confidence, Trust, Vitality and Accept experiences meant for discovering ourselves.
