I am a Museum Educator with over 15 years of experience. At the Guggenheim Museum I managed the Museum’s signature school outreach program, Learning Through Art, for over a decade. I then moved to The Noguchi Museum, where I worked as Head of Education for three-and-a-half years.
My experience at these museums includes training educators, creating programs, evaluating programs, writing curricula, and curating exhibitions of student and staff art. The inquiry-based strategies we used for leading students in discussions about works of art are outlined in my book, Looking at Art in the Classroom.
While working at these museums, I consulted on a variety of additional projects for museums including Neue Gallery and the Judd Foundation.
In 2013, my family and I moved from New York City to Peoria, Illinois.
