During my seven year career in higher education, I have risen to new challenges.
In August 2014, I completed a Masters of Education (Educational Leadership, Post Secondary and Student Affairs) at Simon Fraser University (SFU).
In my current position as a Communications Officer for the Department of Economics, my accomplishments include: leading and organizing a national conference, creating and implementing alumni engagement strategy, and designing a print and digital communications strategy.
As I have implemented these achievements in two years, I am not afraid of creating partnerships with academic and administrative units or taking initiative when I see an issue or an opportunity.
