A producer with a passion for cinematic story telling, I set up Tyke Films to work with new and exciting voices in the UK. Our slate is a mix of genres and formats, developing original pieces and adaptations. Projects include 'Protect Me From What I Want', a gay interracial love story set in Bradford with award winning writer/director Dominic Leclerc developed on the IFeatures.

I am also producing feature documentary ‘Irene’s Ghost’ ,directed by award winning director Iain Cunningham with production funding from the BFI, Creative England, BBC, Wellcome Trust and The Maudsley Charity.

Tyke Films was selected for Compass, Creative England’s business development scheme and in 2014 was selected for Filmonomics, Loco Comedy Training and Triangle.

Having worked extensively in production I moved into feature films working with the likes of Penny Woolcock and Ken Loach. As Development Executive for New Talent at EM Media I delivered the new talent strategy for the East Midlands. As Executive in Charge of production I looked after feature film investments on Shane Meadows Dead Man’s Shoes and ‘This Is England’, Michael Winterbottom’s ‘Cock and Bull Story’, Anton Corbin’s ‘Control’, Duane Hopkins’ ‘Better Things’, Keith Fulton, Lois Pepe and Tony Grisoni’s ‘Brothers Of The Head’.
Appointed Managing Executive at Lifesize Pictures I worked to commission film schemes regionally and nationally for the UK Film Council. These included Talent Lab, Cinema Extreme, Digital Shorts, Digital Nation, Magic Hour, 4Mations and the Completion Fund. I executive produced numerous award-winning shorts including:
• Pitch Black Heist directed by John Maclean BAFTA Short Film Award winner 2012
