An experienced educator who has performed a variety of administrative roles with several public-school systems, Rebecca Lowry has served as a school psychologist since July 2016, when she joined Cumberland Therapies in the Dayton suburb of Ansonia, Ohio. As the superintendent of Westmoreland County Public Schools (WCPS) in Montross, Virginia, Rebecca Lowry’s duties included overseeing approximately 2,000 students as well as an annual budget of $18 million.

During her tenure with WCPS, Dr. Lowry developed and implemented an innovative five-year strategic plan to improve academic programs and achieve ambitious educational goals. She also spearheaded significant capital improvement projects and facility upgrade initiatives.

Outside of the professional arena, Dr. Lowry maintains active membership with the Rotary Club of Cleveland, the Rotary Club of Dayton, and the Westmoreland Ruritan Club in Montross, Virginia. Her hobbies include traveling and scuba diving. She is also passionate about raising dogs and cats as household pets.
